We’re excited to launch our new video series: Bargain Bin Record Reviews. Over the coming weeks we will be crate digging in our local record stores, thrift shops, and garage sales to hopefully find some gems to expand our music library.
For a number of years we have seen a huge resurgence in the vinyl record, with most major artists releasing a physical record as part of their new album releases.
As a new generation discovers the Classic Record Player experience, many of the new adopters of the vinyl record are going back in time to discover music that has been collecting dust in basements and storage rooms for the past few decades.
For many people bargain bins are a great way to discover artists, and albums that otherwise might have gone unheard. For some it’s an opportunity to go back to their youth.
There is a multi-generational shift to go back to vinyl and you may find a teenage girl and her dad have the same Friday night hangout… the local record shop.
Over the coming weeks join us as we journey to finding some gems and expand our musical catalogue one dollar at a time.
